Meet Coach Moses

Klein Oak Panther Wrestling

Parents or Guardians,

My name is Taylor Moses. I am the Head Wrestling Coach at Klein Oak High School. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about the Klein Oak wrestling program and encourage your son or daughter to participate in the sport of wrestling.  Wrestling is a sport that builds character, teaches a strong work ethic, self-discipline, humility, perseverance, and self-confidence. Wrestling combines an individual sport with a team sport.  You can be tall and lean, short and stout, wrestling allows you to be you. Wrestling is a physical, but rewarding sport. Wrestling is a sport that teaches you many life lessons. I would ask you to keep an open mind about our sport.  Any student that is interested can inquire by coming by the wrestling room (Rm 490). I know that there are numerous choices for students, however we are supportive of students in multiple clubs/sports. I would encourage you to ask people in the community about our program and the sport of wrestling. I am confident of what they will say.

Our wrestling program is a year round program that starts in the fall with our High School tournaments beginning in November and the season end with the culmination of the state tournament at the end of February. We do encourage athletes of other sports to give wrestling a try and wrestling works well with fall sports such as Cross Country and Football. If your son or daughter is involved in one of these sports, we will work with other coaches to make sure they can participate in both.

The Klein Oak Wrestling Team has a rich tradition both on the mat and in the classroom. We have had National and State success and we take great pride in our program. Klein Oak Wrestlers have had the opportunity to wrestle all over the nation and we currently have wrestlers in College wrestling at all Divisions. Our wrestling team is one of the few teams in the state of Texas that wrestles a National schedule.

If you are interested in challenging yourself and joining one of the most successful programs in the state of Texas, please contact me through my school e-mail address. I look forward to working with the supportive parents of Klein Oak High School and the hard working kids that make our programs successful.

Thank you,

Taylor Moses
